Global Climate Strike

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes participated in the Global Climate Strike on September 20th by marching around the Sunnyside neighborhood.  We received a lot of supportive smiles, thumbs up, and honks. We also had a guest speaker (Charity, Kaya's mom) talk to us about steps we can take at school and at home to reduce our energy use and combat climate change. Learning about climate change will be something with integrate throughout the year.  I am adding a few links to the blog this weekend to support the learning at home.
