Run/Walk/Move

Game faces, everyone! It was a blast to get the class moving and grooving this last Friday during the annual Run/Walk/Move Sunnyside Fundraiser. Special thanks go out to everyone who made a donation, all of our amazing parent volunteers, and for the legions of awesome kids who dared to zip outside and break a sweat for Sunnyside in the crisp autumn air! 

October Happenings

It's hard to believe we're nearing the end of October.  There's been a lot happening in Room 202: Working on our Celilo Falls Storyline frieze (the setting of our story), drumming, reading, writing, and working on multiplication and division.

Mt. Tabor Field Study

We had an awesome first field study of 4th grade at Mt. Tabor today!  This was a play-based experience where we got to do our first nature journaling, explore our sense of hearing, and have time to play in the woods.  A fun time was had by all, and we stayed dry!
